This body of work explores the destruction, decomposition, and recomposition of childhood memory through archival family photographs. Both still and moving-image works are digitally manipulated and reconfigured to form new narratives, reflecting how memory shifts over time and expressing a sense of distance from my childhood self.The animations unfold as non-linear narratives, where fragments of personal imagery are layered, disrupted, and transformed into evolving compositions.“Pick a square and watch my memories change” encourages focused attention on shifting pixels as a hypnotic, immersive whole.
